A Fairy Tale

"Do what you do, never look back,

and keep heading for that dream you've always had.

A fairy tale, keeping my mind wide open,

Don't close it until you get what you deserve.

Stop when we all fall, and stay in that spot till the time is right.

Think about the moments that meant a lot,

and not the ones that were really bad.

Take my hand, I'll take you to that castle,

where every mind twisting dream comes alive.

You won't regret the things that changed you,

but you regret who changed them for you.

Everyday a little girl wants a pony for Christmas,

But what I want is a real man,

Who can take my breath away.

Giving me butterflies in my gut,

and in my heart.

The ones who you fall for the most never come to the end,

They turn out to be your worst enemy.

We crash into a billion pieces,

and it's hard to put it back together.

Day after day that fairy tale rips your brain out for wishing for it too long.

You may never know young lady,

Cause the story isn't over.
